Also the Wikipedia article hints that some videos were trimmed to force into widescreen format Fair enough, they may not be HD quality but it's debatable how much improvement you can make to videos where some of the source material is several decades old. I have 'Magical Mystery Tour' on DVD and Blu-ray and I can't see much difference between the two. (Mind you, I'm as blind as a bat!) I'm looking forward to the new Beatles DVD though as this is the first time most of the promos have been commercially released. Even the films on the Anthology DVD (e.g 'Paperback Writer') looked pretty good to me so I'm keen to see how good the new versions look!
