Miniseries are simply limited-run TV series, so they definitely go into the TV World. This is particularly important considering many UK-produced TV series are technically miniseries; sometimes they get extended, as in the case of "Victoria". Where the difference is is if a miniseries is reedited into a feature-length film for alternate release. This occurred with Shogun in 1980 when the 10-hour miniseries was reedited into a 2-hour movie for theatrical and home video release. They did it with another 1980s miniseries called Masada as well.

However, there are cases where movies have been reedited into miniseries and I don't know if they should be indexed in the TV World too. Three examples that come to mind are The Godfather Saga (Parts 1 and 2 aired as a miniseries at one point), and the first Chris Reeve Superman film and the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service both were expanded into two-part miniseries for their initial TV broadcasts in the US. Do we index the TV edits as miniseries? That's a question.
