Also, there's the case of some ebooks being subject to deletion or alteration by a third party (remember the fiasco where an edition of Orwell's 1984 was deleted remotely because the company didn't have the rights). That said there have been books released exclusively in digital, just as there have been digital-only singles and album releases in music. Until 45worlds figures out a policy I don't know if much can be done. I will chime in with agreement @ppint's comment about the Anthology format option. It shouldn't be there and I find myself having to indicate hardcover or paperback in the Notes whenever I index one and I'm not sure if the definition means multiple authors or multiple works by a single author. |
