camshaft SUBS 24th Aug 2014		Cassette Album Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin	This tape I've got and once I had the LP (Polydor's Atlantic), has a difference in that the last track on tape 'How Many More Times' was cut short before the final verse was played. I take it that Atlantic couldn't fit it in on the tape due to timing!

camshaft SUBS 24th Aug 2014		Cassette Album The Mission - Children (1988)	I did have the tape for this, I wan't impressed with it, so I've recorded over it since. however the tape was legit when I bought it at a charity shop, but the inlay looked as if it been photocopied! No printing on the reverse side of the inlay. Cassette international release Cat No is :- 834 263-4, LP Cat No = MISH 2 (International = 834 263-1). CD Cat No = 834 263-2. Barcode :- 042283426344 .

camshaft SUBS 24th Aug 2014		Cassette Album Lindisfarne - Lady Eleanor (1977)	Until somebody could put in the proper inlay for this, hopefully the full labelled cassettes too, I have put a scan of a handwritten inlay until then. I used to play this tape in the works van, but the labels used to get unstuck that it jammed up inside the machine. Try getting the tape out while still driving - BLOODY MURDER!!! - I bet a lot of people had that experience out there!

And I would have thought Marty Wilde's entry would have His Wildcats credited, but on looking at the 45Cat entry, it is only listed as Marty Wilde! See his B-Side entry [PB 972]. Tape made in EEC.

I'm sure there is a third tape to the series, have to delve into my tape boxes to see! YES THERE IS A THIRD TAPE to this series - But still have to find it!
camshaft SUBS 23rd Aug 2014		Cassette Album The Beatles - Live At The BBC (1994)	This entry was the most I've put images onto, with the box, inlays, and each page of the 48 page booklet scanned in, whew! My only problem is the Cat No! I've placed the full barcode number first, then TCPCSP 726, then the two individual tape numbers, I am realising that the box set number could be 8 31796 4. Perhaps anyone of the correct number for the box set? More info is on Wikipedia. Also two other entries to this is on the Vinyl Albums World [PCSP 726] and on the CD Albums world [CDPCSP 726].

camshaft SUBS 16th Aug 2014		Cassette Album Various Artists - Hits Of The Mersey Era Volume One (1976)	If anyone has the original cassette to this, as the image shown has the the original tape inside a C90 case. My original case got damaged and was thrown away, can't remember if it had a printed case or a label stuck on it? At least I had plenty of spare blank/recorded cassettes to transfer the tape into, much better if they are screwed in ones!

camshaft SUBS 30th Jun 2014		Cassette Album The Shadows - Simply...Shadows (1987)	Only one track written by a member of The Shadows, Brian Bennett. Another is a Traditional Arrangement by Cliff Hall [The Skye Boat Song]. Track 1 is damaged, but the rest is OK! on my tape anyway!

My girlfriend sent this by post from Canada, then came over with the tape but never replaced it with the tape. When I find it, I will add the scans unless I got beaten to it (Hopefully). Another screwed down cassette case from Canada!

Barcode number is - 042281883644-97 . Original Canadian release in 1981 under Catalog Number MCR4-1-4021. No Riffola Bludgeon marks anywhere on this cassette!

camshaft SUBS 29th Jun 2014		Cassette Album Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet (1986)	Thanks for the info, now I am sure I've come across cassettes that's easy to prise apart, and click them back together again, handy for fixing tape breaks etc. Better than gleuing, welding or screwing (Pardon the entendre!). I've occcasion to replace the casing with the c30,60 or 90 cases, which do come in handy, but dead fiddly to get the tape around the spools and the slots, before closing the cases together! I've a few other Canadian tapes by Def Leppard, 1 by Tom Petty that are screwed, you can look them up.

camshaft SUBS 29th Jun 2014		Cassette Album ZZ Top - El Loco (1981)	An old friend of mine had this tape that had an extra track at the end, but I could not put a finger to where it had came from, possibly a bootleg release in the similar frain to the 747, pyramid type labels? I've no idea. No idea what the extra track title name was? Anyone shed any light on this?

camshaft SUBS 29th Jun 2014		Cassette Album The Platters - The Platters Golden Hit Collection [Volume 1]	The two tracks 'Twilight Time' & 'The Great Pretender' must be a re-recording, as these were a 50's release originally, on the tape inlay it says published 1966! camshaft SUBS 22nd Jun 2014		Cassette Album Wings - Wings At The Speed Of Sound (1976)	Whoops, slip of the finger on the keys, must have pressed the 5 instead of the six, yes it should have been 1976. As mentioned it is the date for the vinyl album, maybe I should have put the year down only! Time to tell the mod to change this! Thanks YankeeDisc for pointing out my error! I have seen the 7605 DP mark, but didn't give any thought to a date.
