TopPopper 13th Apr 2020		Cassette Album The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1972)	Added: 1980s edition. All that's changed on the inlay is the addition of a barcode, and the shunting up of the text above, to make room for it. The cassette itself is quite different though, with cream-coloured plastic and square bits around the two spools. I guess this didn't have too long a shelf life as the re-issues came out in 1987.
TopPopper 4th Apr 2020		8-Track Gene Roddenberry - Inside Star Trek (1976)	Hold it up to the window or a lightbulb. I'll bet you find the red plastic is translucent, and the light passes through. That would explain why the scanner didn't scan red - there was no colour reflecting back at it.

Therefore, the date of the item looks wrong. Please could someone confirm whether the correct date is 1976, or at some point after that.

TopPopper 2nd Oct 2016		Reel-to-Reel The Plastic Ono Band - Live Peace In Toronto 1969 (1969)	A quick heads up, Petey - I merged a couple of duplicate entries - one of your Revolvers and one of your Yesterday and Todays were already listed. In both cases I put all the images together on the one page, and in the case of Yesterday and Today, decided to keep the other image as the main one, as your box has some wear and tear on the front. Your image is still there, though. Hope this is all good. (There were a couple of Youtube vids which we no longer working, so these have been dropped.)

When the albums were first prepared for tape, it was for 8-track cartridge and lots of jiggery-pokery was needed to try and get four tracks of about equal length. Then when they launched these cassettes, rather than return to the vinyl playing sequence they used the 8-track sequence. In my view it was unnecessary - who wants to hear "Revolver" for example, starting out with "Good Day Sunshine" followed by "And Your Bird Can Sing"?

A rare (I think) edition with white plastic shell, and views of the black card slip-case this product was originally housed in. This is the only end-of-year compilation I know of, from the 12 Tops LP series - only available on 8-track I believe.
