 9 years after posting, I have found the boxes, but the cassettes themselves were put in proper plastic boxes, so are still missing at the moment, but the chances of finding them have gone up, so expect to see the cassette images soon

 I'd be very grateful if you could, MM - I've been trying to track down details of this series for years. When I learned of this site's launch I hoped that details would eventually emerge: but not so quickly! Three others in the series are releases by The Rezillos, Angelic Upstarts and Tubeway Army; all appeared, as you say, during that brief post-Bow Wow Wow cassette single fad.

 there are at least 10 cassette singles in this series with the SPC cat. no.s - it was an early experiment almost 5 years before the record companies tried again.
Other releases that I have are by The Ramones, Gary Numan and Pretenders - basically acts on the Sire/WEA/Warner Bros. and Beggars Banquet labels at the time
I'll add the others if I can find them, although I haven't seen them for quite a few years
