I think we're going to a music memorabilia world so they'd probably be better there.

Hardback? Paperback?

Would you regard them as books or magazines?

Wow! That will keep me busy too. I have every single tour programme from each concert I've been to since I started in 1973 (with The New Seekers, in Bournemouth!).

Paperbacks,of course: special issues of magazines, usually not included in a subscription, such as "Photography Annual" or "Hi Fi Directory'"

If you can confidently state that it is a magazine - as opposed to a "newsletter" - then they are certainly valid.

Oh it's certainly not a newsletter, it has 32 pages (and they charge 100 quid for a full page advert). It's just a bit "Heath Robinson" as publications go that's all. The line between "Editor" and "Publisher" is a bit blurred (anything for inclusion in the next issue should be taken to John at the village hall etc.) and some of the adverts inside for local businesses look like the printing block was half a potato. It's been printed monthly since the 1960s though. I think the church themselves used to print it, then got bored with it, and some volunteers kept it going so they would have somewhere to discuss the gardening club and local jumble sales.

Go for it then, I'd say.

Maybe hold off on placing any ads in it, though...
