45worlds should basically stick to music, which is where it started and not into the publications area with Magazine World, what's next here "Book World"? List every hard cover or paperback ever printed? Just think you could list First Printings and link them to Seconds.
Anyway, how about a DVD World, strictly for Music DVD's... this would categorize Concert DVD's, Music Video DVD's, Documentaries, etc. A prime thing here would be in comments if the DVD was full performances or videos OR cut in-betweens with talking over music (how annoying).

I agree that 45Worlds does need to avoid straying too far from the original remit (as I've said before), but I think Magazine World is entirely appropriate. Not only is it closely linked with music (and popular culture), but there is a need (in my opinion) to create a permanent record of these things, as many of them will otherwise be lost to history and never seen again (just like many of our beloved vinyl singles).
That said, I do think straying any further from the starting point (music) would be risky, but I've no reason to think that will happen anyway.

I meant to add that I think a Music DVD (& VHS?) world would also be a good thing, somewhere down the line. And possibly Music Book World too. These would be very much part of the "family".
...albeit I wouldn't fancy OC's job coding either of the above!!
Cannot the DVDs go into an (extended ? CD world ) For Biscuit World would Lidl's Chocolate Digestives from 'Tower Gate' go into Bootleg/Repro as the logo and packet colour is remarkably like McVitie's products - but the taste is not the same though.
Are you guys seriously saying that you wouldn't like to see Biscuit World?
wow, now there's a good idea!
well let's see, I can think of several labels, Nabisco, Keebler.. atleast the U.S. ones. One German one, Bahlsen
bar codes/UPC's could easily qualify as catalog/ID numbers
I don't think Images would help as one tends to re-size to the placeholder size ( eg the 78rpm labels that have differing diameters , even on the same record , + the smaller broadcast labels too. I dont normally measure , nor the magazines, sorry , I guess I should do. I think I have seen differing diameter wagon wheels from same supplier , both Burtons ? orignal ones and the clones in Aldi , etc.

I have a mispressed Bourbon Cream where one side of the biscuit has the "bourbon" legend on the inside instead of the outside. Can I upload this as a new entry to Biscuit World or should I just add the scans to the regular Bourbon Cream entry?

I have had kit-kat's where the amount of chocolate to biscuit varies , sometimes with one finger or a whole block being chocolate. Do the new 5 finger varieties get listed as EPs or Singles with Bonus Tracks ? Likewise king-size double bars do these go on 12" world ?
There will be further issues when Biscuit World goes live, like for example, what we do with Lincoln biscuits. Some have all the little dots in concentric circles, others have them in straight lines, like the ends of pipes stacked up. Would these warrant separate pages, or would we put them all together?
