I have several hundred RC magazines which I would like rid of (dating from 80's to relative recent times) .

If anyone wants to collect them from the Chelmsford, Essex area please get in touch.

I too have hundreds dating from about 1983, I have every issue since that time and have tried a few times to offlload them, but no one seems to want them even at no cost other than to collect from North Wales. After putting the missing ones onto this site, I will probably take them to our local recycling centre for a a proper burial - R.I.P. as I don't fancy lugging them all back up to the attic.

Mine were sacrificed when I was "absorbed into the collective" (i.e. moved in with 'er indoors)...

I have the complete set (to date). They weigh a ton and take up a huge amount of space, but I couldn't get rid of them.

Some of them are worth a few bob, IIRC... :erk:

Mrs. Chalk would be overjoyed if I got rid of them all! It doesn't matter what they're worth, it's not going to happen.

I have a few hundred in the attic, and couldn't see my way to binning them.

I list them on ebay when they have free listing days, but rarely sell them.

Unfortunately all mine went to a recycling centre last year as well. Nobody's interested in them at all. Tried ebay and boot sales, from which, I just hurt my back carrying them

Hmm, as per a chat "in another place", it seems I was wrong! :erk:

Adding to this, note I have a few, again free, have dropped off most, but not all as yet ' Beatles Appreciation Society Magazines (seem small) at Penge Salvation Army Chartity Shop and some music books and sheet music at the independent chazza in Penge. (and more in Scope) and yes it did my back in too.

Picked up an interesting Duplicated newsheet- relatively thick, that seems to cover the 78 era "the Golden Years Edited by Reg Bristo No 29 1973" which looks interesting for 78world cannot get google to find anything about this.
Finally also got some book and magazine collector magazines - free if your interested!
