| Duplicate tracks across countries of release |

Member since Feb 2010 1707 Points Moderator | Will there be any facility for the mods to duplicate the track details from one country to another? Example: Ummagumma has the identical tracks between the USA copy listed already and the UK copy SHDW1/2 I have here on desk. |

 | beatcrazy Member since Jul 2012 148 Points | A possibility of duplication of track details would make things way easier for new entries and would lead to a faster growing discography. I'd get bored when adding the same track lists and details 10 or more times for certain titles I own from different countries. |

 | mlgh224 SUBS Member since Jan 2013 1886 Points Moderator | You could have the existing listing open in one tab / window and the 'Add record' page in another tab and copy & paste them from one to the other. I realise you can only do one track at a time but it saves a bit of typing. |

I agree, without dissing this site, over at Discogs, if you have a variant issue to post, due to country / sleeve / pressing, etc. all you have to do is hit "Copy to draft", and then edit and view, before posting.....simple. I'm sure that type of set up takes acres of bandwidth though, so I'm not complaining. Mind you, I did two updates/new subs this morning, to make way for entrants on "45worlds - Vinyl Albums", and both the original subs. were incorrect, so I just made my subs 'correct' and posted them......they do need some proper moderators on that site. |
