A long shot, but someone might know the answer...

When adding an LP, the track name and songwriter details default in as you type, so you can select something you've entered before, without typing the whole thing again.

Sometimes in a single session, I add two LPs with the same contents. Sometimes the tracks I just entered on the previous LP default - which is great - but sometimes they don't.

What am I doing differently to determine whether they do or not? I've tried things like going back to the main page first, or closing the browser and re-opening, to try and force it to default in, but haven't yet unlocked the key.

Does anyone know?

I think its a setting in your browser when it comes to 'data entry' fields. I have disabled it in Firefox , but left it in in Safari, the hit and miss might come from what the browser is interpreting as related website URLs , have a look at some of your settings in the browser to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks. Have checked and ticked all the relevant boxes in Firefox. I don't think that's the problem though as it's entirely random whether it will or won't - yesterday I uploaded 7 or 8 pairs of LPs (mono and stereo) and it was just pot luck when typing the second version, whether it would remember the first one. If it were my settings which were the issue, I think it would behave the same every time. I must be doing something one time and not the other, which makes the difference. But what?

I'm not sure why it sometimes work and why it doesn't. But it is definitely something that your browser is doing, and not something this website is doing.

its part of firefox, it only functions properly if you do not use the "clear all history" at any time or {I am assuming} till such time as the cache is full, when firefox will dump the older info in cache?.
I have custom set my browser cache to 1 Gig, normal default is only 1024meg you could try overriding it.
