You are right about the mass cross linking ie. AB & CD's, AB & DB's, AB & whoever, need to show under AB discography but remain seperate listings with links to the main discography. Sometime however you may end up with The AB's, The ABs, AB's, ABs - all the same band with slight variations to the name (no collaborations). I think that when they are infact the same band (with the same lineup - think Rolling Stones and the 2 or 3 namings on the site) then they should be cross linked en mass under one discography. The first one I created with (Gospel) to distinguish this gospel group from Skeeter and Betty Jack's country duo, but I have since added two Savoy albums with the "Famous" designation (which seems to be the most common, although at least one of the other Savoy albums that I don't yet have doesn't have that!). Thanks! |

Another similar idea for the future (if it's actually possible) could you not link the singles from a certain album to the album. E.g. The beatles let it be lp linked to the let it be single? just a nice idea probably be too much work to ever implement though! |
