Watch out for people suddenly adding random puzzle books though. Or are they magazines? I dunno... I suppose some of them are if they are regular publications etc etc...
Just added two mags to this category. You may see they are real periodical publications with issue number etc. etc.
Have added Miscellaneous & Unclassified
and General Interest & Pop Culture (Which should cover ID and alike)
I have been looking at a bunch of yet unclassified mags all the time and feel like this issue should be more thought about... i struggle with huddling mags like Art Actuel or Theatrical Life under General Interest & Pop Culture category. Sometimes there's a big distinction between "General Interest" mags and those which write about culture. I was thinking about better term and possibly "Arts & Culture" is the most common and widely used ? I'd suggest to add this tag.
Also, i see a big and very distinct subcategory under Arts & Culture, those local weekly, bi-weekly or monthly mags which write about current cultural events in a city or province. There are already a lot of them in the database!
So, my suggestion is to split General Interest & Pop Culture into three:
General Interest
Arts & Culture
Arts & Culture > Event Guides (or what is the proper wording)
Hmm "General Interest" can be thought about even more, should it be just "General Interest" or "General Interest & something"

Any chance of getting Concert Programmes added ??
Mmm. We may start a music memorabilia world at some point ad I wonder if these would be best included there rather than magazine world.
What do other folks think?
Would be great to see them somewhere on 45worlds but I'm just not sure where!
I agree it would be great to see them. I don't have any to add anyway though.
I always liked the idea of a Music Literature World, to include sheet music, bios, books about music and instruments, concert programmes etc... flyers?
"Electronics" should be added. "Electronics > Audio", "Electronics > Video"
I added a magazine "Video Review" sometime ago. U.S. also had "Video Magazine"

I think music memorabilia world would be great in one form or another.
You may even start an entire new site with proper url for everything non-media.
Then you may have there sections like Magazines, Posters, Tickets, Postcards, Concert Programmes, Thirts, Flyers, Music books...
Such site may also attract a lot of audience outside of RPM addict circles :)

I would agree some sections still may be missing.
But Electronics > Audio already exists as Music > Audio & Hi-Fi. Maybe just add Video under Film & Television ?
Personally i thought about "Technology" several times, for the mags like Wired. Not a suggestion but something should be thought about.

Nothing to put in them yet, but Agriculture should have a category (somebody must have a collection of Farmers Weekly).
Manga and Anime need a category too (we'll need to put "magazines about" in brackets, otherwise we'll be inundated with Manga books). In Japan, Gaming, Manga and Anime are sometimes lumped together as a topic called Ganige. The problem with that is that nobody outside Japan knows what it means.
I would like to see some topic partner "switching" too. Architecture should really be a category partner with Design. These days a lot of people in that industry are involved in both (Ikea have a range of candle holders designed by architects). Building could go into a new Construction category, there are loads of construction industry magazines around, but not all of them specific to building (e.g. equipment, pipelines). Maybe a Transport - Collecting sub category too?
