I have quite a few to post, but unfortunately can't establish dates for them. Most are from the first batch to be released, it would seem. Amazing how little help google has been about this.
Cheers in advance!
You could also try searching old issues of BILLBOARD in Google Books, they might at least have articles mentioning when certain companies were introducing cassettes in particular countries, even if they don't mention specific titles. I think GRAMOPHONE (UK) back issues are in Google Books too, so they might include lists or reviews of new cassettes, if you're lucky.
I'll just add that I have the UK Decca main catalogue for 1974, which has indexes at the back for LP's and tapes under their alpha prefixes, and there are no cassettes or 8-tracks listed with release dates earlier than 1970 - October of that year is the earliest date listed for anything in the KSKC series (equivalent of full-price SKL LP's). Surely that can't be right, I would have thought Decca as the second UK major would have introduced cassettes before that, the only explanation i can think of is that someone else manufactured their cassettes before October 1970, and so they had different catalogue number prefixes. Anyway, if you have anything on Decca, London, Deram, Threshold, Argo, Beltona, etc, give me a shout, and I'll look it up.
Many thanks, guys!
From the look of the 'Musicassettes' I've got, that appear to be pre-seventies they seem to all be Phillips product, although they're on CBS, Pye, Reprise, A&M, etc. Nice bit of ephemera packed into my copy of Dionne Warwick's "On Stage & In The Movies" is a mini-catalogue of available releases spanning several labels. No date is given on it, but the fashions worn by the models seen enjoying their cassettes narrows it down from possibly mid-1967 to early-1969.
Cheers, again!
The French EMI catalog lists cassettes in its June '68 edition.
The French Barclay catalog lists cartridges in its September '67 edition.
The French Philips catalog lists cassettes in its June '67 edition. There are no cassettes in the '66 edition.

Interesting that Decca had not released any cassettes earlier than 1970. I have been trying to find a release date for this one: KSKC4014. The original vinyl was released in 1958 on the London label but this tape appears to be a much later issue.

I'll look that one up for you tomorrow night, as I'm busy tonight. Also an interesting fact that I picked up last night when browsing BILLBOARD trying to find any earlier tape dates for Decca, is that RCA UK contracted with Decca in late 1970 to manufacture their (RCA's) new cassettes, which up until then had been manufactured in Rome!

I have just updated that entry with October 1970 release date from the 1974 catalogue. Original UK LP issue on Decca SKL 4014 was October 1958.

I was given a Walker Bros. (The Walker Brothers – Portrait, main cat.# LP Philips SBL.7732 ) release retail cassette shell without a case or an inlay card, by an in-law in circa 1968.
Philips label if I'm correct, and of course they held the patent for musicassettes.
I think the date on it was ℗1966 for publishing. I have 200 or more pre-recorded cassettes stored away, and I'll have to dig them out for entering.
