Andrews Sisters Year Of Origin

Can someone help ?

I've gor this British pressed 78 record from The Andrews Sisters.

Side A - Ti-Pi-Tin
Side B - Where Have We Met Before

It has a decca red label and according to the internet the only 78 I have found was an American release from 1938.

The Cat# is M.30127 with matrix number 63316 / 63301

The Cat# is wat worries me the most as it's way different than any other British pressed decca from that era.

Could this been an export issue but pressed many years later ?

These Decca numbers with M.3#### are usually Dutch issues as far as I know, so I presume it was a UK pressing for the Netherlands (or Benelux). 1938 might be the correct year as well, as I've seen Dutch Decca records on the web with cat# starting with M.32### that were dated to 1942.

I Looked at the Dutch entrys and your right, they all starting with M.

I'll scan the 78's I have as soon as my job of recording at home is finished ..

This weekend I'm gonna pick up another 1000+ records from a shop for a low price so that will keep me of the street for a while :thumbsup:
