" If you look at the map, they are heading to the hospital up the way too!
As for the back cover... that out of focus "Lady" walking by, is actually Ringo in drag, who had just confessed his secret shame to the other Beatles. Consequently he found his own doppleganger to replace him in the public consciousness, so he could appear on the stage in Vegas, where he has done very well for himself...
And he is currently living out the rest of his life as Liza Minnelli "

"This is also evidenced by the fact that "Abbey Road", is an anagram of both: "Ay Be Abroad", and of course: "Ay Be A Broad"... so he is, in effect, heading down the "Broad Way""

"MM, where are you getting these stories? This one just about tops the "saddled cats" story. And how far did you puss(push) that one? I just thought of something.... If those cats could sing, do you think they might've recorded a version of Simon & Garfunkel's "59th Street Bridge Song"? - Feline Groovey!"

"Listen, Magic Marmalade, I'm tryin' desperately to stay in my seat in front of my computer but your comments have me rolling on the floor in fits of laughter. Are you sure you weren't a TV comedy writer once?"

" If you join the dots on the back cover, to the left of "Beatles", you get "3 Beatles" - exactly what was also written on the Magical Mystery Tour drumskin. And as Lennon says, in the opening track, "one and one and one is three". As the Pepper drumskin says, 1 ... one ... 1 ... X ...

"Hands up who just Googled: Shilo Album Cover!
And while we're on the subject Neil, the great misconception that man, in his arrogance has assumed, is that the ancient Egyptians worshiped cats, and incorporated them prominently into their culture, when in fact, it was entirely the cat's culture...
... they built the pyramids, and the various sarcophagi were actually just the boxes that they used to put humans in to take them to the vet."

"One thing, we've all had a bloody-good laugh as we wrote all this, ay! But after all this, I agree with TopPopper...I too need to lie down(and regain what's left of my sanity)."

"R.C. asked: "isnt that herbie by any chance?" Mmmmm, could be! But to you Magic Marmalade I say this: we must all be veeeerrrryyyy careful as I fear we're headed for a purr-fect "cat-astrophe" and I don't think we'll come out of it feline(feeling) too good either!"

I've just now printed out this thread - ran to 6 A4 pages(not counting this that I'm writing now). I intend to keep this and show it to some friends. This thread has been far better comedy than anything you'll see on the "giggle-box" at any time! Thanks for giving me one of the best laughs I've had in ages, Magic Marmalade, TopPopper and Record Collector! It's been great!
