I have just uploaded this record

the record was released in 1972 but the dropdown menu on the entry page starts at 1973!

I didn't think 12" singles appeared until c.late 1975.

From what I read on Wiki, "Shelter Records ... was distributed by Capitol/EMI from 1970 until 1973 ... From 1974 until 1975 (sporting a yellowish label and their new logo), Shelter was then distributed by MCA Records."

The three examples we have on the site are all distributed by Capitol, and therefore logically sit before 1974. I don't see any reason not to take the date 1972 as correct.
