A simple announcement today on Jeff Lynne’s Facebook page revealed the news:
“Jeff Lynne’s ELO has signed a global deal with Columbia Records and is set to release a new ELO album! The first new ELO music in over a decade!"
See here for more on this story.

Cool. I take it "Jeff Lynne's ELO" is the name of the act? It's not really going to be ELO, but like Zoom, will be worth a listen.

I hope it's released on vinyl.

an6y66 - great find, I love it. Piano intro reminds me a little of John Lennon's Imagine.

Really liked this one, thank you. Can't wait till November to come around. Wonder if Richard Tandy will be involved?

It's good. I'd like to hear more violins though, like the classic 70s sound.

As Somebody else once wrote here "I could be facing an iconoclastic s*+t storm here" but I have to say I got the album free as part of Amazon Prime and apart from track 1 "When I Was A Boy" first impressions were that it all sounded fairly pedestrian for Jeff Lynne. Nothing really new on it and certainly isn't another Armchair Theatre

Just download yourself a Tor browser. Safe, secure and watch anything. Because you could be anywhere.

I like the new album. Nothing ground-breaking, but it fits in well with the other ELO albums.
Great Radio 2 video. Strange how ELO now looks suspiciously like the Take That Band.
