Speaking purely for myself, 45s are easier to add than LPs due to the size of the object. I'm perfectly happy to add images but if I've added many more LPs than images, it's because I intend to have a mammoth photography session after building up the information on the database. I cannot add images without the record being present on the site. So perforce, a. comes before b. As Doctor Doom says, it will all happen eventually and in the meantime if someone sees an entry without images they are free to add them...
I've said befeore (and the to do pile has grown since)
that just to do the CDs I am au fait through ownership is a little long-winded. I like to make sure I have all scans of front rear the two index strips any internal artwork, the CD/s and mention the kind of case I believe it was originally supplied with. Which is understandably tedious, and I am sort of prioritising bits of life plus the LPs first. Anyway I picked up from a neighbour probably 100 90s/2000s CDs (britpop mostly) with artwork, problem is they be either home brew copies or those burn it yourself downloads. The artwork is good (inkjet quality) and I assume that there are sites which generate artwork (i-tunes I think does - but its not always correct !!) that one can print off and they have done it better than me. I wont have time to check if they onsite already to same track and artwork detail and if anyone actually wants them as I guess the chazza cannot sell them, contact me to collect as I have to downsize my stortage facility! Thats before i start on the 300 CD singles!

We need to be careful with the "homemade". This nc050537au is "homemade" by the artist and sold at his gigs. The reason why there is no image of the disc is because it is a Kodak CD-R. It did have a label stuck to it, which caused play problems, and was subsequently removed and stuck to the inner tray under the disc.
Well to think about it, that CD released by Bill Blaine & The Dynamics was at least done semi professionally, if not professionally, of some of his work during gigs. (at least as I understood it). Recorded in his own studio under better conditions later. This is far different than me recording some of the music in my collection, doing the jewel box art, then posting it here. I don't think I can see anything really wrong with what he did.

Further to this: I've noticed that we often have members making and exchanging comments about what is displayed on labels, cover art etc., for entries that don't have an accompanying image. This type of thing excludes the vast majority of members as they can't see what they are on about. Perhaps this type of exchange should be done by personal message until the rest of the "community" can participate.
