I have a box set by The Alan Parsons Project entitled "The Alan Parsons Projects". It includes a double LP of "The Audio Guide To The Alan Parsons Projects" and three stock albums (I Robot, Pyramid and Eve). I have previously (a long, long, time ago) entered the Audio Guide here SP-68. I thought it time to add the album cover but started wondering if I should change the entry.
My conundrum is whether to add just the cover to this album, while entering a separate entry for the entire box set. Or should the box set be entered in its' totality and then delete the previous entry. Any ideas and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Enter the box set as a whole new entry, along with all scans. Then ask for the original SP-68 entry to be deleted if that double LP was never issued separately from the box set. If it was, then just upload the album cover to that entry and leave it in place.

I would leave the double LP even if it didn't get released separately. Box sets tend to fall apart and somebody could easily pick up the double LP individually from a second hand dealer or op-shop.

I'd have to side with Vinyl Junkie, for the reasons he mentioned. The "guide" is an excellent listen, btw. Very entertaining and informative.
