HOOK45 is it a mockery or is it a fact? I don't know and I don't care for Boston at all as a group but I do have the decency to not (well usually) rate things I don't like. Sometimes I wish we had minus numbers in the scale for some songs by artists I do like, John Cale's The Jeweller off Slow Dazzle comes to mind.
Never mind it's all subjective and we can't all like or dislike everything. No, hang on there I might have a crack at that and become the first Quantum Physics Human Being and supercede the sexist and over-rated Universal Man.

Strange that a user would go into each copy of this album in Vinyl and CD world and rate it so low - must have had a bad experience with this album in a previous life.
Must sound better on cassette as he's rated it 2 there

As I said:it is mockery! An user like this wants only to ruin the rating system. It was another user in 45cat, who rated more than 14000 singles (he didn't added anything!), only to be the first on the rating ranking. When the rating ranking was canceled, he didn't rating nothing more. He's notes were a lot of 1 and 2. A stupid user.
I never gave votes to songs or artists in my life but in this case I make an exception, given that this record is part of my youth and recalled only nice memories... so 10 to all songs!
I agree one hundred percent with Lee Wrecker about "decency"!

Magic,I've got more of a feeling, this character goes by the name of "Bodston" these days and has been lurking around on 45Worlds for a long time. I hope this information brings you some peace of mind.

I did some ratings this morning but I didn't apply to the ratings commission here to OK it.
I never received the memo telling me all ratings must be approved, so sorry.
I'll probably not get my nectar points now.
There should'nt be,and aren't (as far as i know) any restrictions on how you rate any particular item on 45 Worlds, you are free to give it as low or high a rating as you see fit, that's the whole point surely?,everybody on the planet has their own specific musical tastes, they are particular to you,and are as individual as your fingerprints, and you can express them how you like, there should be no peer pressure on the site,if you think it's crap/brilliant,then rate it so.With time, the number of ratings for any one item will increase and therefore offer a more "balanced" rating (Dark Side Of The Moon on Discogs for instance has 14,896 ratings giving a score of 4.7/5)
gregs78s says it all really.
Personally, the ratings aspect is of peripheral interest and when dealing with people's opinions you have to accept differences in views and motives. And for those who follow the ratings, I'm sure that many of the more 'extreme' ratings will be balanced out over time.

I am not sure about here but on 45cat the ratings do not get averaged over the different countries for the same release. For example if I rate a song on the Australian release, it does not get averaged with the existing ratings for the same song that was released in the UK.
I also agree that your ratings are personal to your tastes.
