I've created a handfull of records the past few days in the database, but I rushed a bit with uploading images. This one seems to be a problem and I re-worked my scans for a better result (though, my original copy IS pretty dark). But I can't edit the A side and the B side doesn't show edited.
In the same way, I edited the images for this record (I have a copy without stickers on labels and thought it was relevant to edit the images) but my images haven't shown up yet.
Are the edited images moderated, or did I miss something ?
Also: what about damaged labels ? Should I create the record with damaged label (faded, scratched etc) nevertheless, or should I better cretate it with image, hoping for someone to have better copies ?

Images are moderated and having checked none are awaiting approval at this time.
The reason your edits did not show on "The Southland Six" disc is you tried to replace another member's images with yours which was correctly rejected. If you have better scans than what is on the site, use the add images and put in a correction request than a mod will decide the order of the scans.
As for improving images my opinion is to upload as is, as sometimes that can provide info that's not shown on a clean label. Also if it is very poor, another member will add an improved image in due course.
As for the "Ida Cox", the B side image has been edited by yourself. The reason you may not see it is a cache issue as some servers take a while to catch up. The A side cannot be edited as it already has been by someone else. In this case submit a new image.
As Redpunk says, I think revised images don't immediately show up because your computer still has the old image stored in its image cache. You can try to empty the cache, then reload the site. If that doesn't work, a moderator has to "refresh the image".
On another note, please make sure you also provide all your images with a description, for example, "Vocalion 05336 A side label".
