 | firebirdfirebird2 Member since Jun 2016 67 Points | Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the 78 rpm recordings made by Richard Tauber? "Wiki" indicates more than 700, but I have not found that number on the Parlophone "Odeon" Series R & RO, unless considerable amounts were made under the original "Odeon" Label. | scrough🍰 No picture 'cos I'm not into 45rpm :( Member since Jan 2013 3428 Points Moderator | I've found almost 500 sides in the R/RO 20,000 series, and he did issue in other Parlophone series too, so 700+ isn't so unbelievable. |

| firebirdfirebird2 Member since Jun 2016 67 Points | Thank you kindly for your comments,in addition to the R and RO series on the Parlophone Odeon, I have found 63 on Odeon 0-4501 to 0-9018 and a further 31 on Odeon Rxx 76205 to Lxx 81940, and no doubt there are many more contained within the "Odeon" Catalogues. | xiphophilos Member since Dec 2013 3351 Points Moderator | Richard Tauber was definitely extremely prolific. But that's probably true for other similarly popular singers as well. Caruso, for example, must have made hundreds of recordings too. |
