Sadly, they are in the process of discontinuing book sales in favor of online data - wich is not a way to read books to me... - but I miss the "Recording the 30's" book ! It sold out before I finished the "Recording the 20's"...SIlly.
Do anyone knows a place where I could buy one ?
You were lucky. Based on Mainspring Press' website, what hastened their retreat from book sales is a huge loss of books through water damage in their storage room two days before you posted your first message:
"On the morning of May 13, an overhead water line failed in our main storage area, destroying a substantial number of books. As a result, we are unable to fill any book orders at this time.
Payment already received for orders we are now unable to fill will be refunded within the next 1-2 business days (May 14-15, 2018). If you placed an order over the weekend, you will be notified as to its status tomorrow (May 14).
Please do not attempt to place an order until further notice. Salvageable books, if any, will be offered at final close-out pricing once we have determined the full extent of the damage and completed clean-up of the area."

I'm glad I got their ARC book before this. This is really a pity.
I follow the blog, so I was aware. And that's actually what decided me to ask for help!
Thing is, the book was OOP for quite a while now, it was actually the first of the series and sold out shortly after the time Recording the Twenties was released. Sutton announced it wouldn't be repressed, though. Shame.
But he's working on Recording the Forties and announced that there would be a short run in physical format, as many people requested it. I hoped for a small repress of Recording The Thirties then.
But the recent water damage made me think nothing will ever happen again. Even the run of Recording The Forties must be in jeopardy now.
I secured a copy now, that's quite a relief !
Thanks again for the help !
Given the annoyance of storage, distribution and general pain of books, If I were the author I would consider using Lulu or similar for self-publishing.
For effectively short runs print-on-demand direct to the buyer saves some costs and gets a decent cash in the bank (less maybe than the profit on sales, but saves aggro)
