I note that there are two sets of list for his albums...because of the different spacing between Davis and Jr.
Rather a lot to do manually....can it be done easilly by the bosses???

All the names for this artist have been updated and grouped under the name of Sammy Davis, Jr. (main discography).

Without looking, I suspect the variant spellings are as per the label. They need not be changed, just added to the main discography, with a note directing to the main discography.
I did this years ago on 45cat, a long job which found mis-attributions both by record companies and contributors, the latter needing many edits

The same two sets of names - with and without a comma - also appear on 45cat. As long as they are linked, it's not really an issue.

Even in 78 RPM they are liked in the same way, CD Albums still needs a similar job. :read:
