Which site is best for Discographies of 78 records? I am finding that they are often incomplete.

There is no complete site because ca. 50 million individual 78s were released until ca. 1960. India alone released 5 million. No site is going to capture them all. This site here at least has knowledgeable users and moderators that try to keep the info accurate.

On that basis it will take 336 years to add all the 78's on present progress. Caution! this person failed basic Maths at school.

The best resources tend to be books with label listings, which are often privately pressed and expensive. Global Dog Productions does list some labels, but it concentrates on 45s. Mike Thomas’s website has complete label listings for many 78rpm companies.

Hopefully then, we should easily be finished by the year 2525 - if man is still alive!
