Why isn't the & (ampersand) possible to use in the Title field in the DVD- Blu-ray world?
Instead it turns up as And.

Example:
Nightmares & Dreamscapes turns into
Nightmares And Dreamscapes.
Not correct in my opinion.

Seems like you could use it in the other world but not here or am i doing something wrong?

Thanx

Yes, it cause problems!!!!
Perhaps even Psycho ones too  , not just to the database.

You could use the & in Cinema world and in the More Title field of DVD world, but not in the Title field in the DVD world.

DVD Title:
Cowboys And Aliens.
Do this match to the Cinema world? Answer is No.
In Cinema world the Title is Cowboys & Aliens.

How come you could use the & In the Title Of Cinema world and in the More Title field in the DVD/ B-r world?

The way it is now, i'm sure it causing problems to each world and the database.

Please try to make some changes, cause this is just insane!
This could not be correct.

Thanx.

(Ironically, the Forum title has an ampersand in it)

Weird that one World is set to change & to "And" but others don't. I thought they all used the same coding?

Mod thing...

Moderators can change DVD world titles to the ampersanded Cinema world title, but I think new entries will continue to be converted to 'And'.

Hi.
just my thought exactly.
I noticed that Cowboys & Aliens have been corrected which is great, but not Nightmares And Dreamscapes. so a little nudge in the" Make Correction" field is up.

Thanx for the info!
