All of these LPs say the following:

Created And Produced By Jac Holzman

CREATED is the key word for me.

The artist line should read: Jac Holzman.

On 45cat there are also many that use Sound Effects or [sound effects] or the name of the recorder or.... There is no continuity across the sites. [recorded sounds] seems a good option to me, although I have also the impression that every sound on a cd, lp, tape or whatever medium was recorded.

It is one of those awkward areas. To know what is actually a "field recording" ([recorded sounds]), vs a "sound effect" ([sound effects]) created within a recording studio.

But then again there have been a lot of "field recordings" done by Folkways Records of native tribes around the world which of course don't come under the "[recorded sounds]" Artist.
