Please forgive me if I've totally missed the answer here somewhere, but...
How is the 'primary edition ' highlighted? Is it a moderator or should the system automatically sort by pub.date?

The reason I ask is one of the books I submitted ages ago has a UK and US edition.
The book is Rush To Judgment by Mark Lane, both pb.
The US copy is from Feb 1967, the first Fawcett Crest edition.
The UK copy, a Penguin, is also from 1967, listed as March although that wasn't me as far as I know. At present the UK edition is listed as the primary one. Not a big deal, but I just wondered why. Thanks!

It’s the database system, I will try and find the answer on the mod forum as I asked an almost identical q there some time ago.

The answer was : it’s to do with the earliest date, the database calculates this “Primary “ automatically based on that.

I wondered about that as the current 'primary' is the March edition, despite the other dated February. I don't recall entering the month for the UK one though, perhaps it was listed first because it had just 1967? The month being added later?
Thanks for checking though.

I'm not sure that the mods' superpowers run to changing the 'Primary' status of a book.

I think the database may have a mind of its own when it comes to "Primary" books!
