I don't think it's that easy. I don't know of any online source for UK Columbias myself, and the link to the US Columbia E-Series discography won't help you much.
I myself don't collect British 78s, but if I did, I'd probably try to get some of the Columbia discographies sold via the website of the The City of London Phonograph and Gramophone Society (CLPGS) at https://www.clpgs.org.uk/label-discographies.html:
Columbia 'DB' and 'LB' series
by Michael Smith and Frank Andrews. Softbound, A4, 370 pages. Introduction & Index.
Columbia 'DX' and 'YBX' series
by Michael Smith, Ernie & Ernest Bayly and Frank Andrews. Soft bound A4. Coloured cover. 176 pages. Introduction & Artist Index.
Columbia FB Variety and Dance Band Records
Columbia Celebrity Series 'L,LX,D,YB,LB,RO,ROX'
by Michael Smith & Frank Andrews. Soft bound, A4, 286 pages. Introduction & Index.

The second version of our dating software does comprehensively cover the early Columbia series releases up to 1930, and a few of the later series.
But I'd be wary of the CLPGS discogs by Michael Smith as many of his works do not give dates. However the CLPGS publications organiser is very helpful, and would be able to advise.
I have a large quantity of Columbia (and Decca) monthly supplements to process, but will not be able to start on this soon.
I asked this because recently I played a Columbia 'William Tell' overture 2 disc set and assumed (because of the way the label looked) that they were made during the 1940's. Later however, I realised that the date was actually 1909.
