8 mm format

Hi guys do you think it s possible to add 8 mm format at media type ?
Would love if it is.

If yes, then it should probably be labelled as 8mm / Super 8. That said, somewhere I still have some films on 16mm, but I'm unlikely to have any need to add it here; unlike the consumer 8mm/S8 releases, they weren't sold with those cool poster art boxes for the 50 & 200 ft. releases. Those would look good on a media release page (and on the linked listings on the Cinema pages, too!)

8mm & Super 8 are 2 slightly different formats- Super 8 has a larger frame size (theres a good explaination on wikipedia)

I am aware of that, I was just suggesting that both formats be represented (I don't see enough demand for each having their own category given their relative obscurity.)

At the moment we're not going to add this format as there don't seem to be enough items. We may need to add an "Other" category for the small specialised formats. We'll return to this decision later.

Many thanks the "Other" option you mention does not exist on this DVD & Blu-Ray world...so the situation remains the same.
