Overdoing the cast list

	23skidoo Member since Jul 2014 4061 Points	When it comes to shows with big casts (like Game of Thrones) or long-runners with lots of cast members (like daytime soap operas that run 50-60 years), I know often the "Selected Cast" list can often get quite long. I generally feel all main cast members, and major recurring are fair game, but I get why some people stop at the suggested 4. Recently I've been coming across some pretty out of control cast lists that honestly appear to have just been copied from the IMDb. The latest example is American Playhouse which is just insane and it's an anthology series so we really should only list regular announcers or hosts. (For example, all versions of The Twilight Zone should only list one cast member: Rod Serling in the original, Forrest Whitaker for the 2000s version, etc. You don't list William Shatner because he was in an episode.) I've asked the mods to remove the names from that listing except for the announcer and I made a similar request of the 1990s version of The Outer Limits. Are there any other examples like this that you can find that we can refer to the mods? Again, I'm not talking about shows with big ongoing casts or longrunners like Doctor Who. I mean ones where someone has entered the entire list of names found on the show's IMDb, which seems to have been the case with the two examples I cite.
