Anyone know the last HMV POP 78s? Or even the last? Thanks in advance.

The UK EMI Trade Catalogue up till end of June 1960 has 708 and 709 as 78rpm released in Feb 1960. Both are from the Joe Loss Orchestra. 709 is Alice Blue Gown/Alexanders Ragtime Band.

And Pelletier says in the intro to this book on the POP series that '78s phased out in 1959'. But see my comment above. Perhaps these later 78s were intended for foreign issue?
