Adding video game releases from different countries?

Hi! This is my first time here. I'm really enjoying putting together my video game collection in the database.

I was just curious, I will often come across a US or UK release for a game I own that I want to add to my collection, but all my games are PAL (I'm from Australia) - and some also carry different catalogue numbers / barcodes. I haven't added any games yet because I didn't want to overcrowd the database with duplicates. Is there any option to record the catalogue numbers / barcodes / release dates for multiple countries under the same item?

Hi There, welcome to the site this is the policy on duplicate entries -

"Duplicates

Generally, there is a single page for each barcode or game issue. Please search to ensure your game is not already on 45worlds."

So going through my collection, many of the catalog numbers are the same, but all the barcodes are different. Should I add copies with different barcodes and countries of origin?

A different country of origin warrants a new separate entry, as well as a different barcode does.

Yes as walk2013 states if Barcode is changed another entry is required as you will see with Playstation games there will be a US, Europe and Japan entry but also another entry for Platinum editions as well.
The best way is to just take a bit of time and see what us old timers have entered and how and what order the scans and info are added and follow suit.

How can one add steam or epic video games on PC?

I 200 steam game about 50 epic want to add but they dont have a disc only a store on computer you buy and download from.

The Games world does not have provision for streaming/downloads when last discussed it was felt it was more appropriate for a member if they so wish to create such a world on 45spaces.
