Despite the fact that I am constantly told that this recording exists I have yet to find anybody at all that has heard it, seen it or has it ?.....Please help to put me out of my misery on this one as if it does not exist I will stop looking for it

Somewhere In France With You - Leslie Hutchinson (Hutch) Parlophone F 1614

A Member has contacted me and is sending me the record......I can hardly believe it but he has sent me a photo so I know it is on it's way.......Never thought I'd get this one

Hutch’s biographer might be able to help? A lot of pop 78s from this era seem to have slipped into the ether.

we have spoke about the particular difficulty of 1940 UK releases, either issued in short numbers, as I said mum was dodging bombs etc in London , where most pressing and distribution was taking place, and the value of money was changing so both production, retention (and there was a demand for s/h ones to make new pressings a bit later on which may have caused unsold stocks to be eliminated. I added the ad to the entry to aleast show what was proposed and show it was never an discography fake entry in that it was at least planned, but as to disc only diligent digging will find

Just picked up several hundred 78's free from a record shop clearance a lot seem to be around the 40's so watch this space they may be discovered yet. Just added a Hutch recording from 1942.
