According to a cassette listed on discogs that track (fighting for) should be by Hutch (Hutchinson)?

I do have the Leslie Hutchinson version but it was also done by Turner Layton....I'm told I've got the catalogue number wrong though

I just searched the British Newspaper Archive. Old newspapers tended to list new releases of records. Someone has written to the Daily Mirror saying that only Turner Layton sang the song as it should be sung, but I cannot see any evidence of a recording having been issued! Also no evidence when searching at Newspapers.com, or the British Library Sound Archive. Punch magazine also makes a contemporary reference to Layton singing it. My hunch is that he may have sung it on the radio, but not recorded it commercially.
