Hi new to this. I have found approximately 50 78rpm records. I am not sure what to do with them. Don’t want to throw them would rather they went to a collector. I don’t really fancy posting them all out separately. I am not sure if any are worth anything . They are a little dirty and dusty but do have sleeves on them.
Should I do a list and post on here ??? Any help appreciated thanks in advance
List is now on in reply’s to this post

Just a quick look at your list tells me that these were probably collected around 1955 as some are quite modern in 78's parliance.....The best one is the Anthony Newley 78 which could be worth up to £10+.....The Deep River Boys if it signed by the Band would also be collectable....How Much Is That Doggie (Lita Roza) is worth about £5....Always a market for George Formby and the two jazz 78's...Stan Getz and Charlie Parker which could do with a little investigation.....Go onto the Discogs site and enter the catalogue number and label of the record.....Jay Wilbur is also collectable.....Not much in the rest although remember that this is only MY opinion

Is this just the list alphabetised?
It seems a collection of largely run-of-the-mill post-war pre-rock music. The Lita Roza 78 was historically known as the hardest UK #1 hit to find, but maybe that’s less the case with eBay etc.

If The OP could put a location in their profile and COS wave a fistful of fivers I think those ones picked are indeed of a interest/value and listing them like that has certainly saved a plough through the chazza or other listings. The others too nice to dump, too common (or tracks on CD / LP or 45 so the music has less value, and too heavy to store for the next family member to get lumbered with them. The Ted Heath ones maybe still have a niche of dedicated 78 format fans.
I just checked "my collection" values and It seems worlds defaults to a NM value often based on a VG value input, which has given some of my discs rather improbable value - I'm sure Jimmy Young discs are not worth THAT much.

He’s a UK member and maybe not far from you to collect.
Hi new to this. I have found approximately 50 78rpm records. I am not sure what to do with them. Don’t want to throw them would rather they went to a collector. Should I do a list and post on here ??? Any help appreciated thanks in advance

My location is Preston Lancashire some one asked for my location and to put in my profile but don't know how.
I have just found about another 50 in the loft as well
I can never figure out on Discogs if x number of people want a disc, and there are x or less on sale, how come all have not sold ? (OK one may be funds limited) . Sometimes the want is for the music , not the disc itself, but it does give a rough idea what kind of things people find of interest. I assume in these nice summer evenings Sidney might have a small drive along the M62, and Blackpool in the evening gets the sun on the prom , rather than Scarborough !
In some cases, I mark a disc as WANT to remind myself to keep a lookout for it, although I have no intention of paying anything like the collectors' prices demanded on Discogs or the fantasy prices on Ebay. I don't NEED any particular record. I'm just happy when I run across one that I like at a garage sale, estate sale, or in a thrift store.
In other cases, I also use Discogs' and 78world's Want tag to mark entries that I feel I might be able to improve. Unfortunately, there is no other way of marking them.
Hopefully, I don't mess up the actual indication of demand in a major way, though. ;-)
Hi if any collector near Preston Lancashire wants these 100 or so 78s for free please let me know. I haven’t got the time to list them on a selling site and would rather they went to someone who might want them or have the time to sell them to make a few quid. I really don’t want to throw them in land fill .
