I've always struggled with what to call the paper thing in the back of the jewel case. Is it the back cover? If printed on the inside, is that 'inside back cover'? Many members call the back of the booklet the back cover. So many words have been used. Now I heard it's called a J Card. Is that for real? Should I call it that from now on? J Card?

I always assumed plastic cassette or CD cases are called "jewel" because they are transparent, like jewels? I would refer to a Casstte's paper sheet as an Inlay, that would work for CD's? Inlay Front/ back, inside Front/ Back etc?

Yup, I call them the 'Inlay' too when adding them to 45worlds.
From Microsoft Bing: "A J-card is a paper card inserted in the plastic storage case of most audio cassette releases. It usually contains an image of the album cover, a track listing, credits, and copyright information".
..and from Wiki: A J-card is the paper card inserted in the plastic storage case of most audio cassette releases, as well as being latterly wrapped around the outside of many Blu-ray and DVD steelbooks and similar special editions. The J-card usually contains an image of the album cover, a track listing, credits, and copyright information, with some releases having foldout cards with multiple panels to contain lyrics, liner notes, or additional artwork. Most J-cards contain the title of the content on the edge for quick reference while in storage.
The J-card gets its name from being folded into the shape of the letter J (when viewed from the side) to fit inside the cassette's case.
Today, custom made CD-R covers are often called J-cards. Similarly styled covers were used in CD covers in the 1990s for single cases and are still used today".

If you go to eBay to buy any printables for CD's they use the term "CD Tray Insert" and that's what I've always used, as for the front cover, if it's a booklet I use Booklet if it's just a sheet folded in two I call that a Cover Inlay
