I Think from sources on the net that Regal was the (a) cheap label of Columbia.
Zonophone was the equivalent for HMV , and when Columbia and HMV merged the result was Regal-Zonophone.
Regal records are reported as being sold by (exclusively? - No although some sources compare with Embassy post WW2 ) Woolworths, catelogues have ask your dealer for (Various Models of Record Reproducers alluded to ) Regal Needles. I think Regal Accoustic record players may have internals produced by Thorens of Switzerland.

At the top of the Regal page, see the biography link. Same with Zonophone, Columbia and Winner pages which I've also done from books.
Goosey by Butler & Wallace; Sweet Home by Lowry, Gordon & Newman.

Thanks
I am adding Two Gilberts Record Info from various sources to 78rpm , then will add from the BL catelogue. Will do that after I have finished adding the 300 odd 78 discs that remain scattered in different rooms around the flat.

Does the book give a reason for starting on higher number , then reverting to a lower series before going back to higher numbers?
After a bit more digging , the answer here seems to be that these lower numbers (G 6030 to G 6104 issued April 1914) were either new material from the Columbia-Rena Feb 1914 catalogue (G 6050 upwards) or more transfers from the existing catalogue (G 6030 to G 6049).
