I have a Moon Mullican Red Parlophone possibly around 1955.
Cat No. D.P. 503. It has Made in Gt Britain
I looked at the UK Parlophone & do not see any D.P. prefixes shown.
It would possibly be near the Boyd Bennett entry as I think originally a U.S. King label recorded 1954.
I was going to add the the Oz page as the "B" side has a sticker "A M C O Inspection Sydney."
What is the D.P. Series?

(From Brian Rust books)
I've got some Columbia catalogues for Sweden and just in an 8 page supplement from 1939 the following prefixes are listed
DB,DS,MC,MR,MW,CB,FB
Very Confusing
And only four pages from 1942 shows following prefixes
DS,DB,MC,DW,DWX,
In one of my catalogues the DP prefix is lited as Export with black labels.
Does that fit?
DP 502 was released before 1956, so 503 was probably rel. in 1955 or maybe 1956.
I will put it up under Oz, Have a look & change to where you think it should be.
I think it would be 1955 as far as i can figure out it was recorded in late 1954
The Oz Parlophone 78 rpm labels were prefixed with "A" & were Dark Purple.
I have a few "Recorded Music" catalogues from about 1950 & the first half of the catalogues they list "Imported Records"
