Given that my space is limited, I am looking to dispose ( not in a Skip - thats where this batch came from ) of my possibly not of historical importance, classical and some comedy 12" records plus the ubiquitous Vera Lynn / Mantoviani 78s which I have not listed yet ( they are under a pile of washing and will stay there for some time I fear )
I don't want any kind of payment for the discs, other than here ( does anyone want to put their hands up for them ) any other places I could offer them as Charity Shops will possibly bin them and even the local community radio station does not have facitities for them. I know they are of little , or null , commercial value ( well as out of UK copyright I guess you can attempt sell CDs you create out of them ) but one day when all the Vera Lynn's are in landfill no one will remember the discs that got us to where we are today.

I suppose too most of us can remember the ' Crackerjack ' games of rolling 78s to get them into floor resting horizontal record racks , with points for those arriving inserted complete and upright , the records that didnt make it in one piece being swept up and I guess binned.
In the meantime too can anyone recommend carrier bags I can keep these 12" in , my Argos Bags are a bit too big and the latest FarmFoods a bit too thin.
