There is quite a bit on the internet now regarding Brunswick's not unusual convoluted history, my interest comes from what I think is my sole 12" brown paper printed sleeve which is rapidly disintegrating. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brunswick_Records ) . With British Brunswick Produced The Panatrope All Their Productions Are Inspired By That Standard. Talking Machine World 15 Dec 1926 Vol 22 No 12 mentions this device. It seems that this is a (german ?) disc record reproducer , coming from around 1925/1926 in date. The sleeve goes on to mention British Brunswick , Ltd George Street, Hanover Square, London W.1.
and finally Brunswick Gramophone Records should always be played at a uniform speed of 80.

If anyone wants the sleeve , as I dont have any Brunswick discs , let me know no charge for the item.
