Notes

Popular science series for kids that originated in syndication and later aired on Saturday mornings on CBS (with reruns continuing into 1998). Based upon a comic strip called You Can with Beakman and Jax.

The series mixed real-life science lessons with comedy skits puppetry and Mark Ritts in a giant rat costume (though the character of Lester was actually played by a puppet in the pilot episode).

23skidoo 29th Oct 2015		This was a fun show and apparently it actually predated Bill Nye the Science Guy by a year, which I didn't know till I did the indexing. Apparently Zaloom still plays Beakman at live events. Of the others, Ubach has done an number of film and TV roles and Schneider (my personal favorite of the three co-hosts Beakman had) went on to be best known as a voice actress for shows like South Park.
