I liked it as a kid but it doesn't age well. Plus I no longer look upon chimps with any amusement having seen how deadly they can be (not the be a downer). The final season tried to outdo Charlie's Angels in the "jiggle" department by loading up on the sexy women to the extent that Evigan became almost a supporting player (and Bear pretty much disappeared altogether). The only interest the show holds for me today is the fact Claude Akins co-starred in it not long after starring in Movin' On which pretty much was the first major series of the 1970s trucker genre, and as I recall was a much better show too.

 It does exist!

...Hallelujah... it does exist!

This is one that for ages I kept saying to people: "Do you remember that show...?", and all I got was blank stares, like I was nuts for recalling a TV prog with a guy in a red and white truck with a chimp!

I was beginning to think I had imagined it myself, until it popped up as a random, and I recognised the truck.

Vindication!

(I shall now hunt down everyone I ever had that conversation with, and say: "HA!... I Told you so!!!")

Had a very short run on British TV... probably got a very cool response, and got pulled after a couple of episodes.
