Short-lived spin-off of Happy Days. Unusually, while the episode that introduced Nancy Walker's character was set during the parent show's early 1960s timeframe, the spin-off itself is set in 1977. This was one of several series Walker made in quick succession during the 1976-78 period while still appearing in a recurring role on Rhoda. Co-star Eddie Mekka appeared in the series concurrent with his playing another role in the Happy Days spin-off Laverne & Shirley; Scott Baio would go on to play Chachi in the parent series. Pat Morita reprises the role of Arnold from Happy Days, irrespective of the era differences between the two shows.
