Edgy teen musical drama that was a forerunner of Glee. Launched several acting careers, most notably that of Neve Campbell who left after the first season in order to join the cast of Party of Five in the US.

23skidoo 12th Aug 2015		In Canada this show aired on YTV which at the time was known for airing only children's programming (adult shows tended to be noticeably edited for content, such as Red Dwarf). Catwalk was show that raised some eyebrows as a prime-time (i.e. pre-watershed, if such a thing ever existed for YTV) series that showed characters going to bed together and other mature content. Extremely tame compared to later youth-directed dramas such as Skins, Undressed and its spiritual successor, Glee, but rather racy for the day. However when this show was a relative success for the network and the world didn't come to an end I did notice that YTV began allowing somewhat more adult programming, at least in the evening hours.
