Notes

Early live prime-time variety series. Jackie Gleason joined as host in 1950 and in 1951 introduced a regular sketch called The Honeymooners. After the series was cancelled in 1952, Gleason moved to CBS and launched The Jackie Gleason Show, which also continued to feature the Honeymooners sketches, although co-star Pert Kelton, a victim of the Hollywood Blacklist of the time, was unable to make the transition, leading to Audrey Meadows taking over the role.

23skidoo 28th Aug 2015		Amazingly a few episodes of this actually survive and can be seen on Youtube. Generally speaking nearly all of DuMont's programming has been lost, but a few samples survive, including some of Gleason's Life of Riley episodes too.
