Magic Marmalade 20th Nov 2015		I didn't know it had been released as a single... but I suppose it makes sense that it would have been. ...So just checked 45cat, and the video for it is on the entry there. Cheers Single - 45cat. Doesn't really have the same feel does it? (Sounds a bit cobbled together from the elements of the actual short theme tune, and some disjointed verses shoe-horned in there) P.S. I like the colour version for Littlest Hobo Skid.



23skidoo 26th Jun 2015		@Magic Marmalade: I think the song actually made the charts back in the day. It has a few extra verses. I don't know if I'd call it the best theme song ever (if you eliminate instrumentals like Doctor Who, I'd have to say songs like the Ballad of Gilligan's Island and Those Were the Days from All in the Family trump it) but it does capture the spirit of the era. The question is which Littlest Hobo theme are you talking about, the one from the original B&W show or the later color show? Both of those songs were great.



Magic Marmalade 26th Jun 2015		As soon as the titles start, and the theme tune plays... all is right with the world! The best TV theme tune ever? I'm convinced if anyone worked up an extended version of it, and released it a s a single, it'd go straight to the top of the chart no sweat... I'd like to hear Oasis try it! (Although the theme to The Littlest Hobo is a contender too! :)
