Made for streaming spin-off of Doctor Who focusing on events at Coal Hill Academy (formerly Coal Hill School). Although the Doctor appear in the first episode, the series is considered adults only along the lines of the earlier Torchwood, which debuted exactly 10 years before Class debuted.

One single eight-episode series was produced.

23skidoo 5th Nov 2016		Has the sad distinction of being the first Doctor Who-related show I've given up on. Too preoccupied with sex scenes and gore. Doesn't really deserve to be considered part of the Doctor Who franchise, frankly. The last 20 minutes of episode 1 in which Peter Capaldi appears feels like they tried to shoehorn the Doctor in, but if they hadn't included a touching reference to the ending of the 2015 series of Doctor Who, it could have been easily ignored. I wanted to like it, but they decided to make it edgy for the sake of edgy and it lost me. EDIT: On June 4/17 the show's creator gave a pretty clear indication that it has been cancelled but still waiting on official word from the BBC before putting an end date on this. EDIT: Updated to reflect that the BBC has officially now cancelled the series after a single 8-episode season.
