Notes

Launched on New Year's Day 1995, thus predating the UK series Daily Planet, @discovery.ca (pronounced "At-Discovery-Canada" on-air) debuted the same day the Canadian version of Discovery Channel was launched and was the first daily news program in the world to focus strictly on science and technology. The series was renamed Daily Planet in 2002.

Aside from a number of spin-off specials, the series also spawned two American spinoffs, Science Daily and Discoveries This Week, and additional international versions of the show were produced for Discovery Channel's US, Latin America and Asia affiliates.

Cancelled in 2018 after a run of 23 1/2 years.
